Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T

Steph I really liked this video. It looks really well done and actually evoked some emotion from me. Especially the part when the rose petals peel off the rose. It kinda hurt to see something so beautiful get torn apart like that.

Wow, that was really cool - I love the sound work you did. It complemented the visuals well. Sometimes layering looks a little cheesy to me but it didn't here; very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteHey Stephanie I liked this, you showed some very good use and skill in both the stop motion and the visual transitioning, I was a little confused by the title, I didn't know exactly what to make of it but the piece at the same time was powerful especially when the apple was torn apart.
