DU construction - Green Screen

Why one should avoid wearing a shirt with even the tiniest bit of green when embarking on a green screen adventure. But hey, at least now you all get a fun summary of the construction taking place at Denison from my floating head!

  1. These green screens are cracking me up!!

There is something slightly grotesque about the head with no body attached - also so very funny to see you moving across the screen. Mockumentary style awesome.

I am sure Denison will want to use this as promotional material.

re: dark around head. REmember you can use garbage masks to get rid of some of the green as well -

  2. I liked this video. It was good to see a different use of the green screen and to see how you used the wireframe(?) to move your head across the screen.

Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T
