Social Critique (Gabe)

Can this also count as my Photoshop work since I used that in my video?

  1. No. But...

Definite points for creative thinking of how to combine assignments...

And this does not diminish the brilliance of your photoshop work in this assignment...

  2. I really like this piece. With the music and the photoshop writing, it puts a simple yet effective addition to the video. I thought this critique was done really well.

  3. I definitely saw strength in this piece. Theres an important message to get from viewing this your. In addition, the music, photoshop, and editing techniques were well thought out. I would love to see how you could add to this.. i don't know maybe it can be part of your final project..just saying lol.

  5. Gabe this was a good integration of photoshop and video. There is some real truth in what you brought out in this video. I don't think that you needed a few parts in this piece because you had mentioned it before in other areas of the video. Great concept to uncover and reveal.

Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T
