Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T

Haha. Nice. And I KNOW your music choice was perfect. I wonder if this piece would have been different if projected on a toilet rather than a urinal?

This installation was great. I loved how you took a very serious topic and made it comical. I also liked how this piece referenced Marcel Duchamp's urinal, the smell I could have done without though :)

ReplyDeleteLoved the clip and I really liked how you projected it onto a toilet. Very comical and has some meaning behind it.
Sorry Bush supporters....if they exist. I thought this was a very powerful piece. It reminds me of Letterman's old segment "great moments in presidential speeches" but once he was out of office they stopped that segment, its interesting that you are still going after bush. Good location.
