Stalker (Nick & Colleen)

Fisher Price project by Nick & Colleen

  1. This good I was just waiting for Nick to turn around. That was a good way to end it. This video camera actually looks pretty cool when all of the tracking and snow problems aren't in it. The library really gave it the old school scary movie type of feel.

  2. I'm a little confused, is this video supposed to emulate the PXL? If you used the fisher price camera, please let me know what you did, I have been trying to get footage like this for awhile now!

    Cool vid either way...

  3. Someone else kept the Fisher Price camera all of Thursday/Friday so we had to use a library camera just do filters to make it look like the FP camera.

  4. Your work really captivated me at every moment. The suspense grew in me and it felt like I was waiting for a bomb to explode, just waiting for the moment of action.

    Nice work. Unique idea.

  5. Good work making it look like the Fisher-Price camera!
This work kind of reminded me of your security camera piece you and Colleen did earlier in this year. Loved how Nick finally turned around at the end and you cut it off right there. My mind is wondering what is gonna happen next.

Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T
