Fantastic Mr. Fox

I chose fantastic Mr. Fox because the movie really comes to life because of the different types of shots that are used. I was unable to find a segment of the movie online so I included the movie trailer which demonstrates some of the shots that we talked about in class.

  1. This is a great display of many different shots. They all move so quickly you have to play it back a second time to catch more of them. I believe I saw an extreme wide, medium close up, close up, wide shot just to name a few. This is a great video; the movie looks like it may be funny as well. Great example!

Great work Nick. I love the camera's following nature. Your work kept me thinking "how did he do that?!". You really capture a cold feeling, and rather mechanical, to the piece. Probably experimenting with monitors would of served good as well which, as you know, Nauman used in the Public/ Private space installation. R.T
